The schoolhouse sits above Mothecombe (Meadowsfoot) Beach and Coastguard's Beach on the River Erme and Estuary. The beachhouse sits above South Milton Sands (Beach, National Trust). Both beach cafes and bars are fashionable South Devon foodie destinations.
The schoolhouse has a particularly cool outside area. It's a great place to relax after a trip to one of the local beaches or a yomp along the South West Coast Path.
