Thurlestone beaches

South Milton Sands/Thurlestone Sand (Beach). Long, sand beach ideal for families. beachhouse sits behind the beach.

Thurlestone Leas Foot Sand (Beach). Walk north west of South Milton Sands/Thurlestone Sand (Beach) and you come to Thurlestone Leas Foot Sand (Beach).

Thurlestone Island Sands/Thurlestone Golf Course Beach. The coast path then climbs and skirts the local golf course taking you to this beautiful, secluded stretch of sand.

 

Beaches west of Thurlestone

Bantham Beach. Head west of Thurlestone on the South West Coast Path or by car and you'll come to the superb Bantham Beach.

Bigbury-on-Sea Beach is across the mouth of the River Avon and Estuary from Bantham Beach. Both are essential visiting when on holiday in South Devon.

 

Beaches east of Thurlestone

Hope Cove Mouthwell Beach. Walk east of Thurlestone on the South West Coast Path and you come to this compact and sheltered family beach on the north side of Hope Cove.

Hope Cove Harbour Beach is a little further east on the other side of the village.

Bantham The Sloop Inn. Village pub above the River Avon and Estuary and a short walk from Bantham Beach.

The Pilchard Inn. Amazing pub location on Burgh Island next to Burgh Island Hotel. Overlooks Bigbury-on-Sea Beach and Bigbury-on-Sea.
