Cockington Country Park
Cockington Country Park. Extremely popular country park in the countryside behind Torquay and The English Riviera coastline. There's a wide range of attractions within the country park including shops, a pub, cafes/tea rooms and a cricket pitch!
There's a reasonable amout of parking available but it's an easy walk from central Torquay.
Cockington Court and Craft Centre
Cockington Court and Craft Centre. Buy glass, metal, slate and jewellery all worked on site from local artisans and retailers. Cockington Court is the old mansion house and the craft centre is housed in outbuildings old and new.
Torre Abbey
Torre Abbey is situated to the east of Cockington between the village and Torquay Harbour. It's one of the best museums and art galleries in Devon and the Westcountry.
Torquay Harbour
From Torre Abbey, walk east to the centre of Torquay. Walk along Torquay Princess Pier which is part of Torquay Harbour.
Torqay boat trips and ferries
Enjoy Torquay Ferries and Boat Trips from Torquay Harbour.
We'd recommend taking a ferry to Brixham and then walking back on the South West Coast Path.

Paignton Zoo
Paignton Zoo is a short drive from Cockington. It's a big place so spend a day at the zoo!
