Teignmouth River Beach, or Teignmouth Back Beach, sits at the back of Teingmouth overlooking the Teign Estuary. Shaldon is across the water. The Teignmouth/Shaldon ferry runs between Teignmouth River Beach/Back Beach and Shaldon Beach.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink behind the beach. You can also hire boats.
