South west of Salcombe, The Warren (Soar/Salcombe) can be explored as part of a coastal walk in this area. We've walked in from the car park at Soar Mill Cove Hotel (charge applies, payable at hotel) and the car park at South Sands (Beach). For both walks, head for the South West Coast Path to get to The Warren (Soar/Salcombe). The routes are clearly marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer OL20 'South Devon' map.

Things to do in the local area
In the local area, visit the beach at Soar Mill Cove (Beach) and take in the view from Bolt Head to Prawle Point. The stretch of coastline from Bolt Head, around Starehole Bay, to Sharp Tor (Salcombe) is remarkable. The coast path cuts through The Rags and provides super views of the Salcombe Kingsbridge Estuary. The views from the top of Sharp Tor (Salcombe) are amazing as well. Again, paths to the top of Sharp Tor (Salcombe) are clearly marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer OL20 'South Devon' map.
