Mount Edgcumbe House
‘This is where the Edgcumbe family lived for over 400 years. Originally built in Tudor times and restored after it was bombed in WW2, the house is furnished with Edgcumbe furniture and paintings.’ (Information board on site)
Mount Edgcumbe Country Park
Magnificent location on the Devon/Cornwall border, the Country Park offers views across Plymouth Sound to Plymouth and the South Devon coast.

Beaches
Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is lined with small beaches running from one by Cremyll Mount Edgcumbe Landing to Barn Pool Beach to the beach by Milton’s Temple below The Folly.
The Cremyll Ferry
Runs between Admiral’s Hard at Stonehouse by Royal William Yard and Cremyll Mount Edgcumbe Landing at Cremyll.
The Edgcumbe Arms and Mount Edgcumbe are by the ferry landing in Cremyll.
Pubs and cafes
The Edgcumbe Arms pub is by The Cremyll Ferry. The Stables is a café/restaurant at Mount Edgcumbe House. ‘You can enjoy really good food and a delicious range of coffees in our restaurant at The Barrow Centre. Sit outside in the sunny courtyard or snuggle up in one of the stable bays.’ (Information board on site)
Cawsand and Kingsand
The beautiful coastal villages Cawsand and Kingsand are just south west of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. We’d recommend following the South West Coast Path to the villages and then returning to Plymouth on the Cawsand Ferry.
