Haldon Belvedere, or Lawrence Castle, rises from Haldon Forest in the South Devon countryside between Exeter, the Exe Estuary and the north east section of Dartmoor National Park. You catch sight of it from all directions, for example whilst driving the A38 near Exeter or walking areas of Dartmoor's high moor. It's a great place to visit on a day out at Haldon Forest Park. The views are spectacular.

Built in 1788, today it's a popular wedding venue.
