Broadsands Beach, Brixham, South Devon

Wonderful sweep of red sand in the southern section of The English Riviera

Broadsands Beach is a red sand beach south of Goodrington Sands in The English Riviera. The South West Coast Path runs behind the beach on its way south to Elberry Cove and north to Saltern Cove.

If you're keen to try watersports then visit Broadsands Beach Watersports Centre at the back of the beach. Whenever we research and photograph the area, there are plenty of kite surfers on the water.

Look out for the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway crossing Hookhills Viaduct.

Other beaches in the area include Brixham Breakwater Beach, Paignton Beach, Fairy Cove, Goodrington Sands, Meadfoot Beach, Babbacombe Beach and Harbour and Oddicombe Beach.

Location of Broadsands Beach

We've positioned Broadsands Beach on Google maps so zoom in on the 'satellite' setting to see its location. There is lots of parking space behind the beach. The car parking areas are clearly visible just south of the beach.
