Warren Point, Wide Slip and Yealm Steps Ferry/Water Taxi, Wembury, South Devon

Warren Point, Wide Slip and Yealm Steps Ferry/Water Taxi, Wembury, South Devon

Seasonal ferry/water taxi connecting the Wembury area to Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers

Cross the Yealm and Newton Creek on a seasonal ferry/water taxi.

The ferry/water taxi runs in a triangle between Wide Slip (Landing) west of Noss Mayo and Yealm Steps (Landing) west of Newton Ferrers and Warren Point (Landing) on the west bank of the Yealm.

This triangle is clearly marked at Yealm Pool on Ordnance Survey Explorer mapping.

This part of South Devon is reasonably remote so ferry/water taxi timings are not set in stone. That said, you should be able to cross from around Easter/April to the end of summer/September.

If you're walking the South West Coast Path outside the tourist season then grab a local bus or taxi to get from one side of the Yealm to the other.
