Bantham Beach, Bigbury-on-Sea, South Devon

One of the best beaches in South West England

Bantham is a popular and large low tide sandy beach pretty much joining Bigbury-on-Sea Beach when the tide's out. There are stunning views across the sea to Burgh Island and its famous Art Deco hotel.

When the sun's out, the local area's packed with families, surfers, sea kayakers and windsurfers.

The beach leads up into the River Avon and Estuary.

Also, walk the South West Coast Path east to South Milton Sands/Thurlestone Sand (Beach). In our opinion, it's one of the finest stretches of coastline for views in Devon.
